Hello
Who is Kat Jenner, MA?
Kat Jenner has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. She is experienced and knowledgeable in most currently accepted theories and practices in the field of psychotherapy. However, the practice of psychotherapy is not her calling. Kat is also a non-religious and nondenominational ordained minister through the Universal Life Church. She has traveled numerous Spiritual paths including Catholic, Christian, Buddhist, Taoist, Hindu, Yogic, and others including, without limitation, Western and Eastern philosophies, doctrines, and practices. When asked of her Spiritual preferences and orientation(s), Kat prefers to take the “Scenic Route.”
About Kat
Kat was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Major Depression in 2013 and thus began her trauma work. She surrendered to her alcoholism and entered a 12-step recovery program in March 2015. She reached the limits of psychotherapy and continued to suffer until, unbeknownst to her, she “married” her recovery program with her psychotherapy and discovered complete healing is possible through the merging of both. The key to recovery, she discovered, lies in the Spiritual dimension that is excluded from clinical therapy and that is the basis for success in 12-step recovery. Today Kat has experienced complete recovery from her mental illnesses and her alcoholism as well as a number of physical ailments. She no longer meets criteria for diagnosis for any of the above. She has successfully healed her human. She has grown in Spirit to uncover her Self as she has been created and is firmly in the stage of actualizing Self. Today Kat leads, guides, teaches, mentors, etc. others how to do life fully and healthfully in Spirit, emotion, mind, body, and society. She looks forward to working with you and seeing you become Who you actually are.
